Tomorrow Can Be a Perfect Day
By Brian

When
your head hits the pillow tonight how will you assess today? Did
you get a chance to spend adequate time with your family? Did you
get a chance to exercise or eat healthy? Did you do anything you
wanted to do?
Well, now is the time to make these changes. In a couple minutes
you are going to have at your disposal all the necessary information
to experience a perfect day tomorrow. You deserve it!
Begin the day with a simple prayer -- thank God for your family's
health and ask Him to give you strength and patience today. Take
a 10-15 minute walk or bike ride around the block or exercise to
your favorite aerobic video. Jump into the shower and then eat a
healthy breakfast while cutting back on the coffee. After dressing
in apparel that gives you confidence and demands respect, take a
few calm minutes to relax while reading the current issue of The
Medina County Messenger or other enjoyable, uplifting material (the
daily, depressing newspaper is off limits today).
After getting your children to their destination, pop in an inspiring
and uplifting tape/CD. Meditate on it -- expect exciting things
to happen today!
Smile all day! Go "out of your way" to complement your
deserving coworkers with sincerity. Eat a healthy lunch and take
a small stroll during lunch and mentally prepare yourself for your
exciting night.
After work, pick up something small, but special, for your loved
one(s). Enjoy a healthy dinner with your entire family. (Husbands:
You need to be the one who cooks tonight!) After putting your children
to bed, declare this a "no-television" night. Spend the
next several hours with your significant other listening to your
favorite music, talking, laughing, playing cards or board games,
or simply reading a good book while cuddling together.
This scenario can be a reality with some preparation and an attitude
of "Whatever it Takes!" Summer has been hectic and it
isn't over yet, but tomorrow can be a perfect day!
