Kids
driving you crazy yet? Tired of hearing, "There's nothing to
do? Here are some activities to keep the kids occupied...easy
treats that are fun to make and yummy to eat. (Always supervise
stove and knife use...That's part of the fun !)
No
Drips Popsicles
In a large bowl combine 1 small pkg. any flavor jello, 1 pkg. any
flavor
unsweetened koolaide. 1 cup sugar, 2 cups hot water. Stir until
dissolved,
Add 2 cups cold water, mix well. Pour into popsicle molds and freeze.
Circus
Peanut Salad
1 pkg. circus peanut candy (orange flavor)
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup minute tapioca
3 cups water
In a large saucepan, cook above over med. heat until candy melts.
Cool
completely. When cool, add: 2 cups drained crushed pineapple, 3
bananas sliced, several maraschino cherries halved, and 1 small
container whipped topping. Refrigerate a couple hours before serving.
English
Muffin Pizza
Lay split halves of english muffins on a cookie sheet. Top each
with 1 T. pizza
sauce, sprinkle with mozzarella or your favorite cheese, and top
with slices
of pepperoni or green peppers (or whatever is your favorite on pizza).
Bake at 400 for approximately 8 minutes until cheese is melted .
